The integration of an infrared camera, digital camera, videolight and laser pointer already allows you to do more inspections within a shorter time frame. Infrared and visual images, together with all other information captured with the ThermaCAM P640 in the field, are seamlessly integrated  into  the new ThermaCAM Reporter allowing for powerful temperature analysis and automatic reporting. The flexibility of the new ThermaCAM P640 will allow for efficient use regardless of application and user preferences.

Powerful infrared lens
A lens with a large diameter. More infrared radiation reaches the detector resulting in crisp infrared images. The high precision germanium lenses with integral USM focusing mechanism are designed to take full advantage of the high resolution FPA detector. The camera can be manually focussed turning the lens-ring or by autofocus.

High quality digital camera
Exchangeable lenses with adjustable aperture for generating crisp visual images in all conditions.

Tiltable viewfinder
The ThermaCAM P640 incorporates a high resolution viewfinder. The viewfinder is tiltable and can be adapted to the individual user. It is ideal for outdoor use or when the LCD screen is not being used.

Built-in video light
Allows you to make clear visual images even in the darkest enviroments.

Large, bright LCD screen
Super size 5.6” foldable high-quality LCD screen. Allows to see the smallest of details and temperature differences.

Multi-angle handle with integrated direct access buttons
A turnable control grip allows you to move the camera in the most comfortable position. The buttons and joystick to control the camera are integrated in this handle and stay always right underneath your fingertips. A few buttons and a joystick control the entire ThermaCAM P640 and allow point-and-shoot operation. Functions like autofocus, freezing and storing of images, are just a button away.

Programmable direct access buttons
For increased flexibility the operator can program buttons located on the side of the ThermaCAM P640. Change color palettes, emissivity settings or temperature ranges. Activate analysis tools such as spots, areas, all at the touch of a button.

Flexible interfaces
Fast access to composite video connection, USB, FireWire, .... Direct connection to charge the battery inside the camera.

Laser pointer
A conveniently located button activates the laser pointer that will help you to associate the hot spot in the infrared image with the real physical target in the field.

Dual storage possibility
JPEG images and/or MPEG movies are stored on removable SD cards. Thousands of images images can be easily stored on these high capacity SD cards. Two SD-Card slots are available

Easy connectivity
USB or FireWire connections allows for fast download of full radiometric 14-bit JPEG images or stream non-radiometric infrared video to your PC.

Interfaces
Textcomments can be uploaded to the camera through an IrDa interface. A headset can be connected for voice annotations.

Intelligent battery system
The Li-Ion battery of the ThermaCAM P640 gives the user an autonomy of over 3 hours infrared inspections. The battery can be charged while still in the camera, in a 2-bay charger or in a car, on the way to your next job
